Recently, the KP government started monitoring the attendance of teachers and students through an AI (artificial intelligence) based system. The government has installed AI cameras in schools to check live attendance. The KP government took this step after receiving many complaints regarding teacher absenteeism.

About the AI-based attendance system, Managing Director (MD) of ESEF, Zarif Ulmani said that the system will maintain the quality of education. However, through this system, all the teachers and students will come to school on time, so the performance of the students will also improve. The AI-based system will help reduce dropout rates, and officials will monitor that classes start on time.
