Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi has issued notification of closure of schools. In view of the current situation of the political march of Rawalpindi, the Deputy Commissioner has decided to close schools, colleges and universities for 02 days. All educational institutions (public and private) will now remain closed from 8 November 2022 to 9 November 2022. A decision on whether to extend the shutdown will be taken later.
If the political march goes on for a long time, these holidays can be extended. So far only 2 days holidays have been declared on 8th and 9th November 2022. These holidays are due to the long march of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf. The Deputy Commissioner also issued a notification in this regard. We also share notification for satisfaction of Rawalpindi Districts.
