Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) has issued a notification regarding the conduct of Medical and Dental College Entrance Test. According to the notification, the MDCAT exams will start on 13 November 2022. Pakistan Medical Commission held a meeting from 7th to 27th September 2022, in which they discussed in depth the conduct of MDCAT exams and other general guidelines.

The Pakistan Medical Commission has also listed the names of the following public universities to conduct the MDCAT exams one day.
- Bolan University of Medical and Health Science
- University of Health Sciences
- Khyber Medical University (KPK)
- Dow University of Health Sciences
- Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Medical University (Islamabad, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan)
Recently, Pakistan Medical Commission also released the pass percentage of various medical degree programs for session 2022, including BDS, NLE, and MBBS. MDCAT exams will be paper based, and answer keys will be shared on PMC official website. The online portal will be open for registration from 10 October 2022.
